Memorable Manitobans: John Boris Zborowsky (1933-2009)Building contractor. He worked at lumber yards before assuming a management position at W. G. McMahon. He oversaw the construction of Cook’s Creek Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes at Cook’s Creek. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and, serving as Grand Knight for two terms on the St. Josaphat Council. He died on 20 January 2009 and was buried in All Saints Cemetery.
