Artist.
Born at Winnipeg in 1933, son of George Ernest Wilson (1902-1997) and Ruth Frances Temple (1911-1995), he worked as the Art Director for Pollard Banknote Limited for over 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed painting, photography, and fishing at his cabin on Lake of the Woods. In 1972, he won a competition to design a crest for the City of Winnipeg. His geometric design featured the fork of two rivers intertwined with the letter W. He died unmarried, while on vacation at Grand Centre, Alberta, on 30 December 1987 and was buried beside his father in the Elmwood Cemetery. An exhibition of his art was staged in early 2024 in the former Commercial Hotel.
