Artist.
Born at Fulham, England in 1921, he studied art at the Hornsey School of Art (London), Royal Academy of Amsterdam, Winnipeg School of Art, and University of Manitoba (BA 1952). He exhibited art and sculpture across Canada and his work is held by the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa), Winnipeg Art Gallery, and University of Manitoba. His commissions included a sundial and two hanging screens for the Polo Park Shopping Centre and an exterior mural on the Charleswood Motor Hotel. He was married twice, including to Christa Mary “Chris” Willer, and had three daughters. In 1964, he moved to Vancouver to teach at the Vancouver School of Art. He wrote the science fiction novel Paramind (1973). He died at Vancouver, British Columbia on 6 September 2007.
