Memorable Manitobans: Eden Burwash Weldon (1889-?)

Farmer.

Born on a farm near Elkhorn on 7 September 1889, son of Edgar Gilmour Weldon (1859-?) and Eliza Carr (1867-?), on 4 May 1916, he married Rose Annie Head (c1897-1979) at Emo, Ontario and subsequently had one son, Cecil Weldon. They took up a farm near Butler which they operated until retirement in 1945 when they moved to Virden.
