Businessman.
Born at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1934, he was raised in Winnipeg. An avid hunter and fisher, his early career was spent operating a tourist camp in northern Ontario. By 1958, he was living at Thompson and was involved in numerous businesses, including a motel, A&W franchise, Gondola Pizza franchise, real estate company, travel agency, insurance firm, home construction business, and General Motors dealership. He was recognized as a builder of the city. He went into semi-retirement in 1970 and, four years later, he moved to Edmonton, Alberta where he started a home construction business, a chain of automotive transmission shops, a real estate agency, and a chain of over 50 pizza restaurants. In later years, he travelled between Edmonton, Vancouver Island, and Palm Springs. He died on 25 April 2012.
