Businessman.
Born in The Netherlands in 1920, he came to Canada after the Second World War, settled first at Victoria, British Columbia for two years before moving to Winnipeg where he worked at Florists Supply Company, rising to become its CEO and proprietor. He served as the Honorary Consul of The Netherlands for 17 years and Honorary Colonel of 17 Wing for 13 years. He was married twice, first to Joan and second, in 1969, to Arlene. He had a daughter. He died at the Grace Hospital on 23 February 2012.
