Memorable Manitobans: Janet Wilkie Usher (1902-1979)

Administrator.

Born in Graysville, Manitoba, she was educated at the University of Manitoba. In 1926 she became secretary to the deans of Agriculture at the university, a position she held to her retirement in 1967. A reference section in the Agriculture reading room is named after her. She died in Vancouver.
