Broadcaster.
Born on 5 May 1955, after being ordained as a church minister around 1975, he supplemented his income with work in radio, hosting a program on POWER 97 in the early 1980s. His on-air chemistry with host Tom McGouran quickly established them as “Tom and Larry” on POWER 97. They moved to 92 CITI FM where they continued as a radio team until the early 1990s. He was a morning host at CJOB for nine years (1995-2004) and hosted the “Up to Speed” program on CBC Radio (2010-2013). In recognition of his work and community service, he was inducted into the Manitoba Broadcasters Hall of Fame (2009) and received a Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002). He died at Winnipeg on 20 June 2024.
