Physician, MP (1953-1956).
Born at Moncton, New Brunswick on 16 October 1894, son of John Trainor and Mary Ann McQuillan, he attended St. Dunstan’s College (Charlottetown, PEI) and McGill University (MD, CM), after which he practised medicine at Winnipeg. On 24 December 1926, he married Mabel Edna Crehan (1893-1984) and they had a son, Michael Trainor. He was Chairman of the Manitoba Hospital Service Association (c1952). He was elected to the House of Commons for Winnipeg South in the 1953 federal general election. He died at Winnipeg on 28 November 1956 and was buried in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
