Grain merchant.
Born in Ontario in 1878, he came to Winnipeg in 1901. He began working in the grain industry with the International Elevator Company, eventually becoming its manager. He was later General Manager of the N. Bawlf Grain Company (1931-?) and Vice-President of Federal Grain Limited (1931-1935). He served as President of the Winnipeg Grain Exchange (1926-1927). He and wife Minnie Heflin McLaurine (1875-1960) of Nashville, Tennessee lived at 200 Waverley Street. He was a member of the Manitoba Club, St. Charles Country Club, Niakwa Country Club, and Augustine United Church. He died at the Misericordia Hospital on 12 November 1950 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
