Memorable Manitobans: Garth Stouffer (1930-1993)


After working as the News Editor (1967-1969), Associate Editor (1969-1977) and Publisher of the Brandon Sun, he resigned to take over the Souris Plaindealer, staying there until 1987. He was a founding member, in 1970, of the Assiniboine Historical Society. He died at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 21 February 1993.
