Educator.
Born on the family farm near Balmoral on 25 April 1916, daughter of Jennie Arbuthnot McLeod (1878-1945) and Charles Robert Chatfield (1886-1952), she became a teacher and worked at Scott’s Hill School (1936-1938) and Dugald School (1939-1941). On 27 December 1941, she married farmer Roy Wilfred Robinson (1910-1994) of Whitemouth and they subsequently had three daughters. They took over the Chatfield mixed farm in 1953 and later specialized in hog production. She returned to teaching in 1959, serving as Teacher (1959-1971) and Principal (1961-1965) of Balmoral School. She and her husband moved to Stonewall in 1980 and, after his death, she moved to Winnipeg in 2007. She was active with Victoria United Church, Balmoral United Church, Stonewall United Church, and Rebekahs (Acadia Lodge 41). She died at Stonewall on 1 October 2009.
