Memorable Manitobans: Marvin Terry Prystupa (1949-2020)


Born on 7 March 1949, son of Anton Prystupa (1904-1980) and Olga Charko (1912-2005), he grew up on the family farm at Warren, and later at Stonewall. After graduation from Stonewall Collegiate, he received an education degree from the University of Manitoba. He spent 32 years in the Seven Oaks School Division as a teacher, Vice-Principal, and Principal, including at Governor Semple School (c2000). He died on 18 April 2020.
