Memorable Manitobans: Ingrid Margaret Plumridge (c1910-1991)


A native of Denmark, she raised several foster children in addition to her own children. In recognition of her humanitarianism, she was given a Manitoba Good Citizenship Award in 1967. She died at Beausejour on 2 March 1991 and was buried in Victoria Beach Cemetery.
