Memorable Manitobans: Ralph Murray Pearce (?-2002)Policeman, school trustee. Born and raised in Fort Garry, he was a policeman with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Canadian Pacific Railway, and City of Winnipeg until retirement in 1991. He was a school trustee in Ward 2 for 15 years and served as school board chairman, and chairman of numerous board committees. He was also a former Director and President of the Westridge Community Centre, Director and Vice-President of the Greater Winnipeg Minor Hockey Association, and a former Director of the Manitoba Amateur Hockey Association.
