Memorable Manitobans: Dudley Armand Paterson (1914-2003)

Radio broadcaster.

Born at Winnipeg on 24 July 1914, he joined the Winnipeg Grenadiers during the Second World War. Upon discharge, he began a career in broadcasting at the old CKY radio station at Winnipeg and later as Station Manager of CJGX at Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He then returned to CJOB where he stayed for the next 44 years. On retirement, he moved to McCreary where he died on 4 February 2003.
