Businessman.
Born at Toronto, Ontario on 5 October 1851, he came to Winnipeg in 1882 to take charge of the Vulcan Iron Works. He later established the Winnipeg Foundry Company and was active in its management until retirement around 1917. He and wife Mary Ann Pace (1855-1923) had 16 children, including Sarah Louise Pace (1875-?), James H. Pace (1878-?), Walter Pace (1880-?), Elizabeth Pace (1881-?), Lizzie Pace (1882-?), Ford William Pace (1883-?), Mayre M. Pace (1885-?), Mildred Ethel Pace (1887-?), Norman Walter Pace (1888-?), and George Faren Pace (1890-?). The family lived at 97 Kingsway (?-?) and 255 Sherbrook Street (c1937). He died at Winnipeg on 30 January 1937 and was buried in the St. John's Cathedral Cemetery.
