Memorable Manitobans: Gordon Orr (c1907-1991)
Farmer, museum curator.
He farmed near Binscarth for much of his life, and amassed a sizeable collection of cultural and natural history artifacts that were subsequently the basis for a community museum at Binscarth. He died at Russell on 14 April 1991 and was buried in the St. Lazare Cemetery.
