Educator.
Born on a farm in the Willowgrove district on 30 March 1945, son of Eilleen and Ken Murray, he attended Willowgrove School and Minnedosa Collegiate. He then attended Red River College and received a Business Education diploma. From there, he went to the University of Manitoba and obtained BA, BEd, and BPEd degrees. He went to Gilbert Plains where he was a teacher, Vice-Principal, and Principal (1967-1976). He was Principal of Ste. Rose du Lac School until retirement (1976-2001). In retirement he taught adult education classes at Elphinstone for Assiniboine Community College and was the Principal at Keeseekoowenin School for one year. He operated The Wigwam Restaurant at Clear Lake and The Southgate Hotel at Onanole. He died at Minnedosa on 16 September 2004.
