Businessman.
Born at Montreal, Quebec on 19 December 1863, he came to Winnipeg in 1909 and for several years was executive partner in the firm of Finnie and Murray in partnership with David Nicholson Finnie. He organized his own firm, Murray’s Limited, in 1925 and operated it until his death. He and wife Annabelle Lee (1867-1941) had four children: ? Murray (wife of A. C. Kerr), William F. Murray, John Murray, and ? Murray (wife of Harry Wilson). He was a member of the AF & AM. He died at his Winnipeg home, 212 Borebank Street, on 13 December 1938 and he was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
