Memorable Manitobans: John Donald “Don” Moyse (1932-2003)Airline pilot. Born at Winnipeg in 1932, son of John and Gladys Moyse, he joined Trans-Canada Airlines (later Air Canada) in February 1953 and was the youngest pilot to ever be hired by the airline. His first flight with TCA was 28 June 1953 and his last flight as a Captain with Air Canada was 20 May 1985, accumulating 26,000 flying hours during his career. He died at Winnipeg on 27 May 2003.
