Memorable Manitobans: Emily Amelia Bousfield Moody (1898-1988)Community activist. Born at Brandon on 9 November 1898, she was extremely active in her community, serving as a past Chairman of the Charleswood Horticultural Soceity, Past Trustee and Chairman of the Charleswood School Board and Past President of the Charleswood Liberal Association. She was also a former President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, a member of the Charleswood United Church and a member of Sphinx Temple, Daughters of the Nile.
