Alexander Campbell Michael

Grain merchant.
Born at Beauly, Scotland on 5 October 1887, one of eight sons of D. Michael, he came to Canada in 1906 and joined the firm of James Richardson and Son Company. By 1928, he was the General Manager of the Federal Grain Company and the Union Grain Company and he became the first General Manager of the Federal Grain Limited (1929-1930). He boarded at 140 Harvard Avenue. He died unmarried at the Winnipeg General Hospital on 9 March 1935 and was buried in the Old Kildonan Cemetery.
