Memorable Manitobans: James Norman McLachlan (1921-1973)
Lawyer.
Born at Winnipeg on 22 February 1921, son of James McLachlan and Joan Reid, he was a partner in the law firm of Fillmore, Riley, McLachlan & Yarnell. He and wife Edna Emma Plumridge (1917-1978) had three sons and two daughters. They later moved to British Columbia where he died at West Vancouver on 4 March 1973.
