Farmer, municipal official.
Born in Ontario on 26 July 1854, he came to Manitoba and farmed south of Austin with his father and brothers. On 5 November 1891, he married Mary Ellen Walters (1855-1943) at Portage la Prairie and they had three children: Eva McGregor (1893-?), Robert William McGregor (1895-?), and Charles Lupper McGregor (1896-?). The family homesteaded in the Sight Hill School district south of Austin. He served as the Reeve of the Rural Municipality of North Norfolk (1890-1892, 1910-1912). They retired to MacGregor where he died on 8 April 1926 and was buried in the Austin Cemetery.
