Memorable Manitobans: Catherine Jean Low Mather (1883-1974)


Born in Ontario on 5 December 1883, daughter of David Low Mather and Catherine Kilgour Allan (1858-1936), she was a well-known watercolourist at Winnipeg. She died at Winnipeg on 4 December 1974 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
