Magistrate.
Born at Queenstown, Ireland on 11 January 1850, he came to Canada around 1892 and settled at Elkhorn, later moving to Portage la Prairie. He was an unsuccessful candidate in the 1896 federal general election. In 1902, he was appointed Police Magistrate and served in the position until retirement in December 1930. He was married twice. The second time, on 26 October 1920, was to Jessie A. Neilson at Winnipeg. He died at Portage la Prairie on 18 February 1936 and was survived by three children.
