Grenville Marsh

Radio broadcaster.
Born at Toronto, Ontario on 27 January 1925, he was raised by his grandparents. A love of music led him to work at the Promenade Music Store where he met his future wife, singer Lorraine Marsh. They married in 1949 and moved to Belleville, Ontario where he began a career in radio. In time, the couple had five children. The family moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, then to Regina, and finally to Winnipeg in 1958 where he worked at CBC Manitoba until retirement in the mid-1980s. In retirement, he was an announcer on CJNU Nostalgia Radio. He died at Winnipeg on 30 June 2014 and was buried in the Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery.
