Memorable Manitobans: Mrs. K. MacRaeWidow of the late K. MacRae. Came to Emerson in 1875 from Kincardine, Ontario, via St. Paul and Grand Forks, ox-cart to Emerson. Mr. MacRae died in 1914 at the age of ninety-two. They had six children, four boys and two girls. The boys are all farmers in the Emerson district. Mrs. MacRae still lives at the age of eighty-three.
