Memorable Manitobans: Blair MacLean (1942-2008)

Born at Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on 2 December 1942, he worked as a commercial artist in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1960. He later formed the band The Vicious Circle with his brother Gary MacLean, which led to the notorious duo of MacLean and MacLean, which was prominent in the world of Canadian musical comedy for over 30 years. He was known for his ability to make people laugh, his wicked sense of humour, and his sharp wit. He died at Winnipeg of a heart attack on 29 October 2008.
