Restaurateur.
Born in Toisan, China on 5 May 1906, he joined his father in Winnipeg in 1920. He established George’s Taxi in 1936 and then joined his uncle Lee Sun in the New Nanking Restaurant in 1940, becoming a partner in 1956, and purchasing his uncle's share in 1962. He retired from business in 1980. He was known as the host of Chinatown and was active in Chinese causes. He was one of the first Chinese Canadians to receive a City of Winnipeg Community Service Award (1969). He died at Winnipeg on 18 November 1992 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
