Journalist.

Born at Winnipeg on 12 August 1946, one of five children of Clayton Edward Lee (1921-1994) and Joan Elsie Edmunds (1921-1988), his career in journalism began in the early 1960s when he was an underage copyboy at the Winnipeg Tribune. He rose to become Managing Editor of the Winnipeg Free Press (1990-1993). He served as President of the Winnipeg Press Club (1975). After leaving the newspaper in 1993, he continued to work as a contract editor until retirement in 2012. He died at Winnipeg on 23 November 2017.
