Educator.
Born at Martintown, South Glengarry County, Ontario on 14 September 1897, son of Paul Franklin Langille (1853-1938) and Margaret Jane Baskerville (1854-1931), he lived at Fingal, Ontario and was a student as of May 1918 when at London, Ontario he enlisted for military duty with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He joined the 1st Depot Battalion of the West Ontario Regiment and served in Canada prior to being demobilized as a Lance Corporal in November 1918.
He went on to become an educator, including teaching in Manitoba at Elam School (?-?), Gladstone School (1921-1927; Principal 1921-1922, 1926-1927), and Lord Roberts School (1929-1930). In 1933, he married Helen MacDonald McLean (1898-1988) and had at least one child, Barbara Helen Langille (1938-1996, wife of Robert Bruce Carrigan).
He died at Toronto, Ontario on 14 August 1978.
