Editor, cleric.
Born at Tsebriw, Taropol, Ukraine on 13 October 1880, he accompanied his family to Canada in 1903 and settled on a farm near Tolstoi. He was the first editor of the Ukrainian weekly newspaper Ukrainian Voice from 1910 to 1921. He was ordained into the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in 1923 and served at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and various parishes around Saskatchewan until 1941, when he became editor of The Herald, the official newsletter of the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Canada. He held this position until retirement in 1954. He lectured at St. Andrews College and the Ukrainain Self Reliance League of Canada. He died at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on 7 October 1963 and was buried in the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
