Memorable Manitobans: Gerald Leopold Kramer (1908-1977)Educator. Born at Regina, Saskatchewan on 30 April 1908, son of Lewis L. Kramer and Kathleen McLaughlin, he came to Manitoba where he worked as a teacher, serving as the Principal of Sifton School (1928-1931), Brookdale School (1931-1936), Kent Road School (1955-1956), and Isbister School (1957-1960). He married Olga Gniazdoski of Sifton. He died at Creston, British Columbia on 14 March 1977 and was buried at Erickson, British Columbia.
