Educator.

Born at Dominion City on 19 December 1881, daughter of Isabella MacKercher (1854-1938) and Alexander “Sandy” Waddell (1843-1937), and sibling of James McKercher Waddell, she taught at or near Hamiota School (1901) and at Dominion City School (1902) and Russell School (1908), and was Principal of Dominion City School (1908-1909, 1910) and Solsgirth School (1914-1915).

She resided at Russell until after her husband's death in 1963 when, around January 1964, she moved to British Columbia to be closer to her son.

She died at the Altamont Private Hospital at West Vancouver on 15 March 1964 and her body was returned to Manitoba for burial in the Russell Memorial Gardens.
