Businessman, municipal official.
He came to Russell in 1940 as the Agricultural Representative for the Russell district. He operated Kinney Hatcheries from 1945 to 1958. His subsequent business interests included Glu-Rite Industries and the Fashion Shoppe. Defeated in the 1958 federal general election, he served as Mayor of Russell from 1975 to 1980. In 1984, he received the Province of Manitoba’s Citizen of the Year Award. He died at Russell on 8 February 2003 and was buried in the Russell Memorial Garden.
