Lawyer.
Born in England on 15 July 1946, son of Anthony and Ann King, he was raised in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). He studied law in London, England and practiced as a barrister until moving to Winnipeg in 1979. He worked in family law, becoming known as a top divorce lawyer who took on difficult cases and specialized in litigation. He became embroiled in controversy when compromising photographs of his wife, a judge on the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench, were circulated on the Internet. He died of cancer on 29 April 2014.
