Memorable Manitobans: Coleman Murray Kaufman (1932-2010)
Businessman.
Born at Winnipeg on 6 February 1932, he founded Knight Lock Limited and Shield Supply and Service Limited, as well as Mutual Vending after his retirement in 1997. He was a Captain in the Fort Garry Horse, and a member of its Regimental Senate, as well as a past President of the St. James Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Manitoba Locksmiths Association and the Associated Locksmiths of America. He died at Winnipeg on 30 January 2010.
