John P. Jansen

Grain company executive.
Born in Nebraska in 1879, son of Peter Jansen, in 1906 he came to Winnipeg as Manager and Secretary of his father’s company, the Saskatchewan Elevator Company. He was accompanied by his wife and two daughters. The family lived at 68 Yale Avenue, Winnipeg. He died of diabetes, at San Francisco, California, on 6 March 1919 and was cremated there.
