Bank manager.
Born in Ontario on 16 June 1872, son of Joseph Craw Irvine (1837-1888) and Cornelia White (1838-1921), he moved with his family to Regina, North West Territories [now Saskatchewan] around 1888. He later moved to Winnipeg where he worked in a branch of the Bank of Montreal. He was later transferred to Portage la Prairie where he managed the local branch and also one at Oakville. By 1913, he was living at Vancouver, British Columbia and working as a bank inspector.
On 10 August 1898, he married Winifred Brooke Bodington (1877-1949) at Winnipeg and they had three children: Helena Alix Irvine (1899-1976, wife of Cyril Charles Taylor), Donald B. Irvine (1902-?), and Rosalind Irvine (1907-?). They later moved to Toronto, Ontario where, during the First World War, his wife worked in a munitions factory.
He died at Istanbul, Turkey before 1921.
