Harness maker, writer.
Born in Iceland on 25 June 1853, he emigrated to Canada in 1886 and settled at Winnipeg in 1890. A harness maker, he also contributed to two Icelandic weekly newspapers published in Winnipeg: Logberg and Heimskringla. He died at Gimli on 29 April 1940.
