Lawyer.
Born at Odessa, Russia in 1882, he graduated in engineering at Liege, Belgium and came to Canada in 1911. He graduated in law from the University of Manitoba in 1915 and formed the law partnership of Suffield and Gorsey. He served as President of the Jewish Orphanage and President of the Jewish Professional and Business Men`s Club. He was active in Russian, Chinese, and Jewish relief. He died at his Winnipeg residence, 31 Mortimer Place, on 3 August 1944 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
