Memorable Manitobans: Garth A. Garside (1929-2003)

Community activist.

He worked in the insurance industry until he retired in 1999. He was actively involved in his church and community as a school trustee, as a Rotary member and was a co-founder of the Kinsmen Reh-Fit Centre. He took great pleasure spending time at the family cottage at Clearwater Bay. He died at Winnipeg on 29 August 2003.
