Physician and surgeon.
Born at Dunham, Canada East. He married Jessie Munro in 1892. He graduated from McGillUniversity and was appointed house surgeon at the Montreal General Hospital.
In 1890 he came to Winnipeg. He was appointed Superintendent of the Winnipeg General Hospital in 1891, and resigned in 1892 to take up private practice. England was regarded as one of the most able surgeons in Canada and a renowned anatomist.
He died in Winnipeg on 24 April 1908.
