Memorable Manitobans: Ben Friesen Eidse (1928-2018)


Born at Morris on 12 October 1928, youngest of twelve children of D. K. Eidse and Elizabeth Eidse, he served as the first Chancellor and three-term President of the Steinbach Bible College. He also worked as a missionary in Africa. He died at Niverville on 25 April 2018 and was buried in the Steinbach Heritage Cemetery.
