John W. Dafoe

Journalist.
Born on 1 July 1930, grandson of John W. Dafoe, his career in journalism spanned five decades, including stints at the Lethbridge Herald, Edmonton Journal, Winnipeg Free Press, Globe and Mail, and Montreal Star. From 1980 to 1995, he was an editorial writer at the Winnipeg Free Press before retiring in July 1995. He died at Winnipeg on 19 February 2014.
