Structural engineer.
Born at Sherburn, Malton, North Yorkshire, UK on 23 September 1927, son of Winifred and Thomas Crosier, he was educated at the Nunthorpe Grammar School in York. He trained as a draftsman with the LNER Railway (later British Rail) in 1943. Transferred subsequently to Edinburgh and London, he completed a BSE degree at the University of London then spent several years as a designer and resident engineer with the firm of Mott, Hay and Anderson.
In 1952, he came to Winnipeg to accept a position in the Construction Department of the Canadian National Railway. Two years later, he formed T. A. Crosier and Associates, a structural engineering firm. It became Crosier Kilgour and Partners in 1976. He opened a branch office in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1980 and retired from the company in 1986.
On 24 January 1952, he married Elizabeth Mary Pollard (1929-2016) and they had two daughters.
He died at Victoria, British Columbia on 16 June 2015.
