Memorable Manitobans: Anne Sims Crichton (1910-1994)Educator. Born at Stonewall on 12 March 1910, a daughter of Fred Sims and Lily Cook, she attended Stonewall Collegiate and the Central Normal School. She taught school for several years and served as the Principal of Swan Lake School (1946-1949), Minitonas School (1949-1950), and Ninette School (1950-1951). On 14 July 1951, she married Robert James Crichton at Minitonas. They had two daughters. She died at Calgary, Alberta on 13 July 1994. Sources:Birth registration, Manitoba Vital Statistics.
