Memorable Manitobans: Raymond Joseph Barrett Cramer (?-2003)Lawyer, judge. Brother of educator R. F. B. Cramer, he graduated from the Manitoba Law School and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1958. He played a season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He later practiced law with the firm of Brotman, Cramer & Cramer, then became a Deputy District Registrar at the Land Titles Office. He joined the Manitoba Law School and was appointed to the Provincial Court in April 1971. He was forced into early retirement due to illness. He died at Winnipeg on 12 November 2003.
